John Taylor-Smith BDS - Dentist

John Taylor-SmithJohn has a BDS in Dentistry from University of Otago. After graduating, he was granted two years of hospital training for oral surgery. After that John moved to London where he spent 15 years in the West End, ten of which were at his own practise in the prestigious Harley Street area. Here he treated many well-known UK celebrities for a variety of cosmetic requirements. This has given John a special interest in creating beautiful smiles through treatment such as implants, crowns and bridges, which he has received extra training for.

Roshni Williams

Roshni has been working in dentistry for 5 years. While studying, she worked as a temp part time and this job meant that she has had the opportunity to work with many dentists in the Wellington area. Roshni has also worked as an assistant to a specialist restorative dentist. Now she works at City Dental Surgery as assistant and receptionist, and is continuing to study part-time at University.

Mia Santiago

Mia has been with the practice since September 2003 as a Chairside Assistant. Mia worked in Singapore for 7 years as a Dental Nurse, before coming to New Zealand. She is a qualified Dentist in the Phillippines and a registered Dental Auxilliary here in New Zealand.

 

Maxine Hartley

Maxine qualified in the UK at Leeds University. She worked as a staff hygienist at the University Dental School before spending seven years as a tutor hygienist. After that, she worked full time in private practice until her daughter Rebekah was born, four years ago. Maxine and her husband Steven moved to New Zealand two and a half years ago. They love New Zealand and have settled here for good, which is good news for us! She also works as a volunteer guide at Karori Wildlife Santuary.
